Trust
Facts you can check. Suggestions you confirm.
A shared record is only useful if everyone can rely on it. Here is how Plumb Record handles project data, in plain language.
How we handle project data
It Only Sees What's Sent to the Project
Plumb Record reads email that is sent or copied to the project address, and documents someone adds on purpose. It doesn't connect to anyone's inbox or read anything else.Every Entry Traces to Its Source
Each item, date and amount links to the email or document it came from. If something can't be traced to a source, it isn't recorded. When the record can't establish that something happened, it says “not yet recorded.”AI Proposes, People Confirm
AI reads the email and suggests where it belongs. Suggestions are always labelled, show how sure they are, and wait for a person to confirm or dismiss them. An email that says “looks fine” is never shown as an approval.Suggested link· 82%History Can't Be Quietly Rewritten
Every authorized party sees the same history. When something is corrected, the correction is visible too. No provider, partner or owner can edit the past without it showing.Who Can See What
Each project decides who is invited. Some items, like the owner's internal notes, can be kept to the owner's side; shared items look the same to everyone who can see them. The Record Belongs to the Project
Not to us, and not to whichever partner provided it. Whoever provides Plumb Record, the project's record is the project's.You Can Take It with You
Anyone on the project can download the record at any time: spreadsheets for items, issues, documents, payments and people, plus a complete file with every source and every confirmation. The project keeps it after the work is done.Data Stays in Its Home RegionPlanned
As Plumb Record moves beyond the prototype, each project's data and files will be stored in the region it belongs to: Canadian projects in Canadian data centres, US projects in the US. AI processing may happen in another country; we'll say exactly where before launch.
Where things stand today.
Plumb Record is an early prototype. It has not been certified against any security or privacy standard, and we won't claim otherwise. Items marked “Planned” above are commitments we're working toward, not features you can rely on yet. If your organization has specific requirements, ask us when you request a demo.
Nothing gets buried.
Bring your questions about data, access and AI review. We'll answer them plainly.
