For owners, committees & owner's reps
Follow your project without managing it.
You're paying for the project, but most of the conversation happens between people who build for a living. Plumb Record turns that email into a record you can read: what's waiting on you, who has everything else, and where the money stands.

What you get
Answers, not another inbox.
Start with what changed and what's waiting on you, written the way a careful coordinator would tell you.
The contract amount after every signed change, what's been paid, and whether what was billed matches what was signed.
Each item shows how many days each party held it, including your own side. Fair to everyone, useful to you.
Committee members rotate and project managers change jobs. The record keeps what was decided, and why, with the email it came from.
Plain language
Construction terms, explained where they appear.
You shouldn't need a glossary to follow your own project. Wherever these words show up in the record, a short explanation is one tap away.
- RFI (request for information)
- A question from the builder to the architect or engineer. Work in that area may wait on the answer.
- Change order
- A signed change to the contract's scope, price or schedule. It often starts as a change notice and a priced proposal.
- Pay application
- The contractor's monthly bill for work done so far. The architect usually certifies it before the owner pays.
- Draw
- A request to your lender to release part of the loan, built from a pay application and its supporting documents.
Ask your project team to provide it.
Plumb Record is often provided by the architect, contractor, engineer or lender already on your project. Whoever provides it, the record belongs to the project, and you see the same history they do.
